I'm loving the green on brown color thing and the shape of pears, which started me thinking what 's so wrong with a pear shaped woman?

Pink and Purple

I wonder when, or if, I'll grow out of my pink phase. I loved black for a while, then blue, and when I was little brick red.

Doggy Land USA

We went out to see Elana James play fiddle at Maria's Taco Shack tonight. It was a great show at a place that feels very Texas. They had all these old circus posters on the wall, they inspired this painting.

Dear Mr. Green and Ms. Blue

Tonight was another night painting with my daughter present, and in a lot of ways it really frees up my spirit and tempers my inner critic. This painting goes back to my graphic design background, both my love of typography and my need to be less of a Miss. Hospital Corners.

P is for Persimmon

I have a 16 month old, need I say more. I'm also a graphic designer by day, so I've been itching to incorporate letters and typography into my paintings for a while now. I bought these stencils to start with.
