I did a mediocre painting of North Austin last summer, and today I painted it over with yellow, orange, and red paint. You can still see the telephone poles and wires from the old painting.
I volunteered for a writing workshop as an illustrator. My daughter helped me illustrate. We stood in front of 28 kids and some other volunteers and drew images for the story as they wrote it. It was really fun. I'll post the other images when I get them this later this week.
We had the opening to our group show on Saturday. It was fun. I was artist #3 of 12. I've also posted some pictures of the silos that I helped paint on the gallery walls.
