When I first started painting, after college, I loved painting on colored paper. It added such a great first layer of color and made it easier to lay down the highlights and shadows. I've been liking green lately, so I've done this tulip painting on green construction paper. I was missing my realist paintings and I'm out of canvas. Necessity is the mommy.
