We lost the great Molly Ivins today. May God bless her and her mission to end the war. Tonight's painting is about me working on painting light. I found tonight's painting painful. I wanted it to look good, which never goes well. It's been a long day. Not very peaceful toward the end. What is peace? I guess it starts in your head. And someday, I won't pass my serinity like I pass the salt, but so far today, I've been imperfect with that goal.

I like your paintings except for the hippy/peace ones. Am glad Ivins is gone. Many more liberals left, though. Keep up the good work on painting.
